- The Researchers.Cloud workflow is seamlessly integrated with Git/GitHub. Collaboration projects are managed by Git. Collaborating Users use Github for source code, project management and access security.
Programming the Studies
- R and Python are the de facto programming languages required to write AI/ML modeling job scripts for execution on the Researchers.Cloud platform. For security reasons, the platform provides vetted libraries and simulators for use in developing and testing the models. Study definition templates are predefined Python functions that help you define study population and study variables. Study definitions are shareable with collaborating cohorts through Github projects.
Data extraction and transformation
- Behind the scenes, SQL is the database query language that is used to extract data from the data sources. Some knowledge of SQL may be useful if you want to prepare study specific data schemas for anonymised and encoded data for use with model training. SQL language is not required to run your projects.
